GJTTC Sponsorship: Life is sharing!
We want to thank all of our sponsors who have endorsed many non-profit tournaments and activities since May 2011.
While some do not want to reveal their identities, some of the prominent sponsors and supporters are: Dr. Hsu, YingYing etc.
The cost for the design, development, testing and sustainment of GJTTC website has also been donated by an anonymous donor who was also one the original donors with many contributions to St Francis of Assisi in Yorba Linda, CA.
Academic Scholarship:
GJTTC Team is establishing a Scholarship Foundation to annually support children with: outstanding academic record (minimum GPA of 4.0), great character, and a USATT rating of 2000+ regardless of financial status. The purpose is to motivate and develop advance young table tennis players while still maintaining excellent academic performance record and great leadership. GJTTC' Scholarship Foundation will be composed of contributors, leaders, and supporters who want to make a difference for children and table tennis.
US National University Rankings (More...): What is the definition of success? Is financial success the same as educational success? Do you have to go to one of the top schools?
The answers may vary from different individuals. According Albert Einstein, "Education is what remains after one has forgotten everything he/she learned in school." Some may say that "Money is not everything but it is the only thing"; likewise, some may say that "Money is the only thing but it is not everything." Apparently, money and education are not in the same category. We will find various opinions and perspectives and that we will have to make our own conclusion for execution. We may want to read the article "Education: It's true: We're all snobs" from Fortune magazine, 13 June 2011. There is also a similar article Ivy League: The best route to Wall Street
Leadership and Character:
One of the many important leadership attributes: good listening skill; One of the many dominant characters as a leader: humbleness. IQ and EQ must go hand-in-hand.
